The problem
Why most architecture portfolios undersell the building.
01
Renders where buildings should be
Years after handover, many practices still show renders instead of the finished building, so developers wonder whether the design was ever built as drawn.
02
Harsh light, flat facades
Midday photos in UAE sun flatten shadows and wash out materials, hiding the facade rhythm and detailing that separates your work from a contractor’s design and build.
03
No voice behind the design
Clients hire a principal’s thinking, yet most portfolios never let them hear it, so shortlists go to practices whose ideas they have already seen explained.
Our solution
The Built Work Portfolio System: framed like your drawings.
Architectural photography and film should function as connected stages, so a blue-hour image or principal interview leads to the project page, the proposal and a new commission.

FAQ
Architects and practice principals usually ask.
Can you photograph completed architecture projects we no longer have direct access to?
Often, yes. We contact the building owner or facility manager on your behalf, agree access and timing, and document any conditions before the shoot.
How do you handle confidentiality for private villas and sensitive projects?
We agree what can be shown with the owner in writing, avoid identifying details where needed and keep some projects for proposals only rather than public channels.
Can you film our buildings with a drone?
Yes, where permitted. Drone filming in the UAE needs permits and approved operators, and some locations are restricted, so we plan it early in the production schedule.
What will architectural photography for our practice cost?
The figure depends on shoot days, crew, number of buildings and locations, drone needs and the final deliverables. We scope it after the free audit and quote in writing.
How will the images and films be used across our website, LinkedIn and bids?
Architectural photography anchors your project pages and proposals, principal films build trust on LinkedIn, and short vertical cuts reach clients on Instagram. We note which pieces lead to project inquiries and shortlists.
How long does a project shoot take to schedule?
Access, weather and light shape the plan, so the production schedule is settled jointly when the project is scoped, never promised in advance.
Do you shoot architecture projects outside Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and on what terms?
Our crews shoot buildings in every emirate, and GCC projects are scoped individually. Practices can commission a single project or an annual portfolio plan, with no forced lock-in.
Who owns the architectural images, and can developers use them?
Your practice owns the final images for agreed uses, and we can set terms for developers, contractors and publications to share them. Licensed music in films carries its own terms.
